YEG Scavenger Hunt
After a full week of scavenger hunting, all the secret locations of the YEG letters have been found. We hope you all had fun and enjoyed the local landmarks. We sure liked seeing all your happy selfies! After tallying all the entries, we received over 3000 submissions for the #YEGhunt, and only one of them is going to be crowned the YEG Scavenger Hunt champion and take home the grand prize of a trip for four to any non-stop destination out of YEG. Please join us in congratulating the randomly selected winner…Nathalie Dugo! Thank you to all participants, and we hope to welcome you to YEG on your next travels soon.
Full contest rules and details are available at flyeia.com/terms-and-conditions.

Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed that we’ve started referring to ourselves as YEG Edmonton International Airport in some instances.
Well, we’re excited to share that we have made the decision to transition to being referenced by our international airport designation code, “YEG”, instead of YEG.
The Edmonton Metro Region has used YEG as an identifier for many years. It represents our community. We are all part of the YEG region, and while we have always been YEG’s airport, the time has come for us to officially adopt the code as part of our name.
YEG is our airport code, but it’s also code for adventure, innovation, and non-stop fun! That’s why we’re inviting you to celebrate with us as we transition from YEG to YEG with a fun summer activity: the YEG Scavenger Hunt.
