Where to film aircraft

Want to film (or simply watch) aircraft taking off or landing? Here are some great spots:

YEG View Park

Leduc and District Chamber of Commerce Tourist Information Centre

6420 – 50 Street, Leduc

YEG View Park is east of QE II Hwy. and Runway 12/30 (southeast/northwest). The location is ideal because aircraft are still very low in their ascent or descent as they soar over the park.

Public Observation Area

Level 3, YEG Main Terminal

This deck provides great views of the aircraft gates, aprons and taxiways.

On Level 2, take the escalator or elevator between Flight Stop and Central Security up to Level 3 to the Observation Deck/Mezzanine. Follow the bridge to Central Tower.
