Roger Keglowitsch

Following 31 years at PCL Constructors Inc., in 2023 Roger retired as COO, Heavy Industrial. Roger held numerous positions at PCL including project coordinator, project manager, construction manager, project director, vice president and district manager, regional vice president and senior vice president. Throughout his career at PCL, he delivered industrial construction projects across Canada and the United States that have redefined economies. As a member of PCL’s Office of the CEO (OOCEO) and board of directors, Roger led a creative team of solution providers that innovatively addressed construction challenges.

Roger initiated and led PCL’s entrance into the nuclear construction market and investment in a nuclear technology company, with the team earning nuclear certification in Canada in record time. As part of diversification, he initiated and led PCL’s industrial acquisitions in Ontario which opened a market that had been closed to PCL for more than 30 years. He also led PCL’s pursuits and construction of iconic projects such as the North West Redwater Sturgeon Refinery, Imperial Oil Kearl Initial Development and Kearl Expansion projects and the Suncor Fort Hills Secondary Extraction project. Roger is recognized as an industry leader in heavy industrial construction and innovation, overseeing projects such as the invention of PCL’s patented Engineered Module Lift Frame and the development of its HeviLift industrial lift logistics software.

He is also known for his commitment to safety on the job site, sponsoring the introduction of PCL’s leadership in safety and behaviour-based safety programs, as well as the introduction of human and organizational performance philosophies into PCL’s safety program.
