Tim Hofstra

TIM HOFSTRA

Tim Hofstra is owner of Hofstra Farms, a family-operated 1,900 acre dairy and cattle farm located in Leduc County. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Agrifoods International, a 100% Canadian owned cooperative. Tim is the Alberta region Chair for the Co-Operators Insurance Association. He also serves as a Director of Westgen (Western Canada’s Genetic Centre) and has held senior positions with that organization over the past 20 years. Tim is a Board member of Bow Valley Genetics, is a current delegate and former Vice President of Alberta Milk, and is a past Director and Executive member of Semex Alliance, a Canadian-based international organization that develops and distributes high quality genetic technologies to over 80 countries around the world.

Tim previously served on the North Saskatchewan Regional Advisory Council and the Agri-Environmental Partnership of Alberta, and is a past-member of the Leduc County Subdivision Appeals Board.
