About AATC
Innovation in aerospace technology and safety
A consortium of partners came together in June 2015 to create a hub for aerospace training and innovation in Edmonton.
Edmonton International Airport, Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), Canadian North and Canadian Helicopters launched the Alberta Aerospace and Technology Centre (AATC), a long-term project that will support local jobs, generate millions of dollars in economic impact and promote aviation safety.
By investing in simulators and research, we create a safer and more sustainable aviation industry in Alberta.
AATC is an open technology environment where collaboration and innovation lead to remarkable solutions and advancements.
