The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) in NYC

On May 8, 2012, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra made its Carnegie Hall debut as part of the Spring for Music festival.

Over 1000 Edmontonians showed their hometown pride by joining this “small but mighty” orchestra for the concert in New York City. Attendees from Edmonton were given a souvenir red hanky to wave at the concert, creating a sea of red that visually demonstrated Edmonton’s strong support of its arts community.
