- YEG allows us to compete in global markets, which is where the real gains are to be made for my company/organization.
- Air passenger and cargo services are foundational to my company’s/organization’s strength and growth. My competitors have these services and if our air services are not restored, I can’t generate revenues and jobs effectively.
- ElA is a leader in our region for global competitiveness, as well as environmental, social, governance, and innovation and we need it to return to strength

The pandemic and federal regulatory decisions have significantly impacted air service. ElA is not a natural hub and requires your support to recover and help our region grow again. Airport City Sustainability Campus and The Climate Pledge are an important part of how we deliver air service and economic recovery.
ElA provides critical air access for:

- Tourism and visiting friends and family
- Post secondary international students
- Cargo, eCommerce, pharma, agrifoods, manufacturing and trade – carried on both passenger and freighter flights

As a region of 1.4 m people metro Edmonton needs strong domestic and international service in order for my business to compete effectively in Canada and around the world. A European passenger service four times/week on a 787 Dreamliner generates $64 million in annual economic impact. This equates to 350 jobs in our community.
