Beaches, rainforests and volcanos

Set within the northwest reaches of Costa Rica, the Guanacaste province has easy access to some of the country’s most tempting draws – white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and impressive, volcano-studded rainforests. Liberia is home to the national parks of Santa Rosa, which is close to the small town of La Cruz, Rincon de la Vieja, and the beaches around the Gulf of Papagayo. The city has a combination of old structures, customs, and traditions plus modern facilities such as malls and business services.
