On August 1, 2014, some 175 veterans, caregivers and first responders from Australia, Canada, England, and the United States, who are facing the challenges of PTSD, will arrive at the Edmonton International Airport on 5 different flights.  They will start to arrive from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and will be met by honour guard, officials and military representatives.  Our guests then become part of a motorized cavalcade travelling “Heros Highway” to Slave Lake to be part of Aug 1 – 4 activities, including fishing, golf, BBQ, Gala Dinner and much more.

The Cavalcade will leave EIA approximately 3:00 pm and travel “Heros Highway” along highways 2, 19, 60, 16A, Yellowhead, and 44N passing Devon, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Westlock, on its way to Slave Lake for weekend events.
