PSA: Villeneuve Airport to host open house, fly-in and barbecue

Public Service Announcement

Aviation enthusiasts are invited to attend an open house and fly-in, June 7, at Villeneuve Airport, one of Edmonton Airports’ general aviation facilities.

Fly-in events host pilots who are invited to “fly-in” their aircraft and display them for visitors and fellow pilots. The event at Villeneuve includes a mini trade show featuring aviation-related businesses and clubs.

Don’t get hungry while you explore Villeneuve Airport — Edmonton Airports is pleased to provide a free barbecue lunch for all who attend. Donations will gladly be accepted in support of Hope Air, a national charity that covers the cost of airfare for Canadians who need to travel far distances for medical treatment.

Villeneuve Airport is located in Sturgeon County on Highway 633 (TWP542), approximately 15km northwest of St. Albert.
