Edmonton – To assist media with scheduling for September 11, 2002, Edmonton Airports advises you of the following activities at Edmonton International Airport September 11, 2002.

South Terminal, in front of U.S. Customs and Immigration:

0646 One minute of silence observed throughout the airport (includes hold rooms)
0647 Edmonton Boys Pipe Band plays throughout the terminal
0650 President and CEO Scott Clements makes short address, and presents a cheque to Fire Lieutenant Karin Nelson of the Airport Emergency Response Department, matching the funds raised by her department to benefit the New York 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund
0653 Scott Clements introduces military representatives and acknowledges military contribution
0656 Scott Clements introduces Nikki Booth of Canadian Blood Services to officially open the “What’s Your Type Clinic”

Media are asked to park in the Parkade, and pick up a complimentary parking voucher at the Information Booth. **To assist us with positioning, we REQUIRE that you book a “live position” with us by September 10 if you plan to broadcast live on September 11.
