Edmonton — Edmonton Airports, the Deputy Mayor of Edmonton, Leduc Nisku Economic Development Authority, Economic Development Edmonton, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and others will greet the inaugural flight of Continental’s non-stop Houston-Edmonton service Friday, May 2.

Airport, business and community representatives invite you to join us as we welcome passengers and VIPs arriving on Continental Airlines.

Media will be provided with an airside photo op as Continental Airlines makes its debut in Edmonton. A brief welcome reception and ceremony will be hosted at Jasper Mountain Eatery and Breworks. Airport, business and community representatives will offer brief remarks welcoming Continental Airlines to Edmonton. Ms. Debra Larza, Staff Vice President Airport Operations for Continental Airlines will offer remarks on behalf of Continental Airlines.

The new service represents the only available non-stop service between the two major energy centers and provides extensive connections to destinations throughout the United States and Latin America. Continental will provide service into its largest hub, Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Service between Houston and Edmonton will be aboard the 104-seat Boeing 737-500.
