2-for-1 sale offers travel to June 18 on all routes
Summer coming early in Sydney, Stephenville

Montreal – Jetsgo today announced the addition of Calgary and Edmonton as new destinations, plus weekly, non-stop service between Montreal and Vancouver and Montreal and Calgary. The expansion of Jetsgo’s national network will be made possible with the addition of its eighth Boeing Super 80 jet.

The airline is offering its widest reaching 2-for-1 sale in support of this news, with travel available until June 18 throughout its expanded system. Travellers can also get a head start on the summer season with the resumption of last year’s popular Toronto-Sydney-Stephenville route on May 17.

“Jetsgo’s core national network is now complete with the addition of Calgary and Edmonton as destinations,” said Michel Leblanc, president of Jetsgo. “In less than a year, Jetsgo has been able to extend its quality discount service to all major Canadian centres.”

Daily service between Calgary and Toronto begins weekdays on April 16, with Sunday and Saturday flights beginning May 4 and 24, respectively. One-way fares will start at $197. An Edmonton-Toronto route will operate daily, starting June 7, with one-way tickets also available from the same low $197 fare.

Non-stop, Saturday service between Montreal and Vancouver will also begin as a new route on March 22. Similarly, weekly non-stop service between Montreal and Calgary starts on Sundays, May 25. Vancouver and Calgary travellers will continue to have service to Montreal via Toronto during the remainder of the week.

“Today’s announcement is the first stage of our summer schedule rollout,” said Leblanc. “Leading off with Sydney and Stephenville is appropriate given the great response we had in those markets last year. We will announce more destinations in the coming weeks.”

The 2-for-1 sale begins March 4 at 12 pm ET and continues through March 10. Travel is available from March 11 to June 18. Tickets must be booked at Jetsgo’s Web site, www.jetsgo.net or through a travel agent. See the Web site for full sale details.

Previously announced flights between Toronto and Ottawa also began this week. Headquartered in Montreal with 280 employees, Jetsgo offers discount air service to 12 Canadian destinations including Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.

Service in the United States is to New York and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. For a complete list of Jetsgo’s destinations or to book a flight, log on to www.jetsgo.net, phone the call centre at 1-866-440-0441 or contact a travel agent.
