First-Class comfort for all EIA passengers

Plaza Premium opens new lounge for Domestic/International flights

October 29, 2012 (Edmonton, AB) – Plaza Premium has opened a new lounge at Edmonton International Airport (EIA) to serve passengers flying on Domestic and International flights.

“This new lounge provides the quiet, comfortable location that our travellers have been telling us they need to relax or work while waiting for their flights,” said Myron Keehn, EIA Vice President of Commercial Development. “Best of all, it is open to any passenger with a valid boarding pass.”

Plaza Premium Lounge already operates 90 lounges at 21 international airports.

Brent Bowes, Business Development Manager for Plaza Premium Lounge said: “We are extremely pleased to open our new Domestic/International departures lounge at EIA.  As the world’s first pay-in lounge operator, we are very proud to bring our concept to Edmonton. Our main objective is to offer convenience and comfort to all airport users and enhance their experience at the airport with our extensive lounge facilities and five-star service.  Coupled with our US Departures lounge which opened in February this year, we are now providing VIP lounge services to all passengers departing or transiting through EIA.”

Guests can enjoy comfortable seating, business workstations, Internet access, shower facilities, newspapers, magazines, television, a food buffet and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.  Hours of operation are from 5:00 am to 1:00 am daily.  Walk-in pricing is $30 +tax for 2 hours, $35 +tax for 3 hours and $28 +tax for a child.
