Packages available now through Air Canada Vacations

Edmonton — Edmonton now has a non-stop link to Montego Bay, Jamaica with Air Canada Vacations. Air Canada Vacations’ inaugural flight AC 1864 will take off for the first time from Edmonton Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. This seasonal service will operate every Tuesday until April 17, 2007.

“This is the third new sun destination launched from Edmonton by Air Canada Vacations this winter as part of our goal to offer convenient non-stop service from coast to coast,” said Louise Le Beau, Air Canada Vacations Vice President, Payload & Planning. “Montego Bay is a natural choice. Air Canada flight AC 1864 departs Edmonton at 10:05, arriving in Montego Bay at 18:10. Air Canada flight AC 1865 departs Montego Bay at 19:25, arriving back in Edmonton at 00:15. All flights are operated using a 212-seat Boeing 767 aircraft, offering a choice of Executive Class or Economy service.

Air Canada Vacations’ all-inclusive holiday packages, featuring great deals for the inaugural flight, starting at only $1099, can be booked directly via or through a travel agent. Packages are also available with non-stop service to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Cancun (Mexico).
