EDMONTON – To recap our most current information, Transport Canada has directed that under specific protocols, some flight operations will resume at Canadian airports; see Transport Canada website at www.tc.gc.ca for details.

Resumption of operations at Edmonton International Airport will be staged, and slow. Although the airport has commenced some flight operations, this does not mean that passengers will be immediately accommodated because:

heightened security measure will be implemented;
different airlines will commence flight operations at different times;
there will be a high passenger volume

Advice to travellers:
CHECK WITH YOUR SPECIFIC AIRLINE TO DETERMINE HOW AND WHEN YOU WILL BE ACCOMODATED, AND BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO THE AIRPORT.

Consider that airlines and airports will be extremely busy, and therefore, on behalf of our airport agencies, we request patience from our travellers.
