EDMONTON – Diverted Flights:

The last of the six diverted flights, an Asiana flight, departed from Edmonton International Airport at 9:00 p.m., September 14th destined for New York (JFK).

Flight Operations Update:

Edmonton International Airport is operating a significantly improved flight schedule; however, passengers are urged to check with their airline to confirm their flight before travelling to the airport.

Air Canada is operating at about 90% of its domestic schedule from Edmonton International Airport; however, the following flights remain unconfirmed:
 - Air Canada flight 3966 to Toronto dep. 0035
 - Air Canada flight 3600 to Calgary dep. 0615
 - Air Canada flight 3920 to Toronto dep. 0630
 - Air Canada flight 3612 to Winnipeg dep. 0700
 - Air Canada flight 3661 to Vancouver dep. 0730
 - Air Canada flight 873 to Vancouver dep. 0830
 - Air Canada flight 1811 to Denver dep.0750

Air Transat is maintaining a full operation;

Canada 3000 is maintaining a full operation, including the scheduled departure to Cancun flight 649 departing at 07:55, Sept 15th;

Canadian North is in full operation;

First Air is in full operation;

Horizon Air will NOT be operating September 15th;

Northwest Airlines has two outbound flights to Minneapolis on September 15; the first departure set for 08:10 and the second at 10:05;

WestJet is maintaining a full operation

Travellers should be aware that there may be delays at the airport. Increased security measures are being maintained, as directed by Transport Canada. Once travellers have confirmed their departure with their airline, they are advised to report to the airport two hours before a domestic flight and three hours for flights to U.S. and International destinations.
