EDMONTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – AIRPORT BULLETIN #1

EDMONTON – Transport Canada has directed that “until further notice, all air movements from Canadian airports are grounded, except for those flights required for urgent humanitarian purposes, and diversions by the FAA of international aircraft previously destined for the United States.”

There will be no departures from Edmonton International Airport until further notice. Under direction from Transport Canada, Edmonton International Airport has cleared all post security and airside areas of passengers and non-essential staff. Members of the public and passengers are asked to not come to the airport.

Media on-site at the airport are asked to report to the Media Centre located on the Mezzanine (3d) level of Edmonton International Airport North Terminal.
