Aviation enthusiasts are invited to attend an open house and fly-in Aug.23, 2008 at Cooking Lake Airport, one of Edmonton Airports’ general aviation facilities.

Fly-in events host pilots who are invited to “fly-in” their aircraft and display them for visitors and fellow pilots. The event at Cooking Lake includes a mini-trade show featuring aviation-related businesses and clubs.

Don’t get hungry while you explore Cooking Lake Airport — Edmonton Airports is pleased to provide a free barbecue lunch for all who attend. Donations will be gladly accepted in support of Hope Air, a national charity that covers the cost of airfare for Canadians who need to travel far distances for medical treatment.
