Sandra Marocco, B.Comm

Ms. Marocco is Vice-President, Marketing and Customer Experience at Alberta Blue Cross. Prior to joining Alberta Blue Cross in 2021, she was Vice-President, Industry Partnerships and Chief Marketing Officer at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), a position she held for 3 years. Ms. Marocco’s career has been predominantly in media, but has also spanned across human resources, marketing, communications, strategic partnerships and product innovation. She has worked locally, regionally and nationally in various leadership roles, collaborating with many businesses in various industries from government, technology, agriculture, tourism, energy, for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.

Ms. Marocco spent the past decade serving as a Director, Executive Director and most recently as Chair of the Board for Ronald McDonald House Charities, Northern Alberta. She served on the GOProductivity Board of Directors and was a Director and member of the Executive Committee of the Board for PanGlobal Training Systems. She is a founding Director and served on the Board of the Plant Protein Alliance of Alberta. She has also served on several advisory and steering committees, most notably Global Woman of Vision, Christmas Bureau, United Way, and City of Edmonton Centennial Steering Committee.
